Looks Like A Search For New Homes Is In My Future

This is the second time that I've been with a group of Austin new homes roommates on a lease. Things have been a bit easier this time: I'm living with coworkers and friends. Things have been great so far, and we are all considering staying together when the lease is up in a few months.

We don't want to pay as much money for little in return though, so the group is looking into owning a new home. There's a house very similar to ours right across the street. It's for sale, should be fairly cheap, and has a similar layout.

The downside to that option is that the houses in this neighborhood are pretty old, and aren't exactly the best kept. We may look into new homes instead. With as hard as we have all worked over the past few years, it is time to live "the life" a little bit!

I'm going to spearhead the home buying process, so the rest of my day online will be spent looking for new places to move into. I'm really excited about all this: how often do you get to go home buying when you're as young as we are!
